Humble Bee only uses hard wax which is gentler on the skin while still being able to successfully remove dense, thick facial and body hair. Each waxing appointment is finished with coconut oil for a naturally protective layer on the skin. 

Waxing is superior to shaving in many ways! Shaving cuts the hair blunt leaving behind the base and follicle of the hair which grows out immediately and becomes ever annoying stubble! Waxing removes the hair from the root, providing not only longer results (lasting 2-4 weeks before regrowth) but also a gentle exfoliation. Since the hair is pulled from the root they grow back softer and thinner over time. No more stubble, no more razor rash and no more wasted money on razors that go dull after 1 use! 

To prep for your body waxing appointment we recommend:

* Don't shave for 2-3 weeks, or until there is roughly 1/4 inch of hair growth. 

* Gently exfoliate 24-48 hours beforehand.

* Take ibuprofen 30 min before appointment if desired.

* Wear loose comfortable clothing.

To prep for your spray tanning appointment we recommend:

* Shave and exfoliate 24-48 hours beforehand. DO NOT SHAVE OR WAX THE DAY OF. This leaves the pores dilated, leading to product settling and creating dark spots. 

* Avoid wearing deodorant, makeup or lotions to appointment. 

* Wear dark, loose fitting clothing and open toes shoes.

To prep for your Eyelash Extension service we recommend:

* Avoid caffeine the day of your appointment.

* Wear something comfortable (you may just fall asleep!).

* If you wear contacts, only wear your glasses to your appointment. 

* Thoroughly remove all makeup before appointment. Makeup removal upcharge will be added automatically if makeup is still present.
